Scholarship Contest
Hi, I am a student… well, I was a student then I graduated and got my bachelors and entered the real world, which come to find out SUCKS and just not as cool as being a student. So now I want to be a student again; who knew? So, I am going to go to art school in California for writing which I never really liked to do in undergrad, but it seems I do a lot of that anyway now that I’m done with school; who knew? Anyway, I don’t live in California I live in Colorado but if I’m going to go to art school in California then I think that I’m going to have to live there unless I can somehow get a private jet in the next 10 months and fly to San Francisco International every 2 to 3 days just so I can make it to class. However; like I said before “Real World” not going to happen. So to the internet I went because that place has answers.
I stumbled onto a website called Vacancy.com. When I say stumble I mean that I am trying to get money to pay for school so I’m required to mention it by name. Anyhow, I typed San Francisco into the search and I found this excellent apartment right in the heart of the city or middle of the city, maybe the North side something like that. I don’t really know I didn’t go there I just saw it on the Internet. The name of the apartment complex is The Lofts at One Powell. The address is 10 Cyril Magnin, San Francisco, CA 94102 just in case you want to check it out as well. See these apartments are ideal for an art student. Located in the elegant (code name for pricey), and historic Bank of Italy they offer dynamic views of the city through oversized arched windows, which are great for inspiration. I write comedy and I hear that San Francisco has a lot of “funny” people walking around so it will be great to be able to look through big windows to see all the humor in action and it is really hard to catch odd mannerisms through little tiny windows.
The great thing about The Lofts at One Powell they are really close to all major transportation lines. You know because if I live there Lord knows I will not be driving around or even have a car unless I want to live in that instead of these lovely apartments because let’s not forget they are elegant. However, I’m sure there are a lot of beautiful women in San Francisco and being downtown so conveniently close to the financial district, and fabulous restaurants, and theatres and such only increases my chances of getting a few of these beautiful women to come visit me at my elegant bank building residence with the big windows and 15-foot ceilings, which are really great for making echoes when the ladies come over. The Lofts are also really close to the school I want to go to, which is great because I will probably be waking up late for class sometimes, you know because I will be up late making echoes with the ladies.
Now the lofts are pretty much the perfect place for me to live when I move. However I often become nervous about moving into really old buildings because of things like bodies in the walls and ghost and stuff, but The Lofts seem to have an exorcised feel to them and look as if they have been remodeled a few times so hopefully I will not have to worry about anything like that because then these apartments would not be for me. I could not find a location more ideal than this and I am looking forward to selling my kidneys and arms so that I can move in and pursue my dreams.
